Hydroponics on a timer?

I set mine for about 30 minutes, 3x a day. that may be too much but I use 4" rockwool and then hydroton rocks when they are too big for the cube. so the rockwool holds enough air that I'm not worried about it.

If I set the timer to water 3x daily. How long should the power be on for? Thanks!
Not enough information to make any kind of competent suggestion.

How many times you water and for what duration are wholly dependent on what kind of watering system, type of media and the quantity used per plant. An 8" dia pot of rockwool floc may only need flooding 1x/day for 1-2 mins, where pots of clay pellets may need wetting 3-5x for 5-6 min per lights-on cycle.
