Hyperlink to grow journal in signature? REP+!

How do I get the href to display properly? It just keeps treating the line as basic text, rather than as a hyperlink. I noticed that my 'signature permissions' say 'no' to HTML....how can I get around this? Everyone has a link to their current grow journal as their sig and that's what I want as well.

Rep to the first that helps me get this. Thanks all! :leaf:

OK so I think I've got it...unless someone can tell me how to mask the actual destination address and just display the description instead (the part in red on my sig...)....? Help me pimp my RIU!

I don't think the address can be masked unless it's a link to a page that already has
a title.
like if I type out the actual url of this site & posted it, the link will say marijuana growing not rollitup.org.

I have not seen anyone link the journal entry on this site & mask the address.
I've only seen people link to a personal web page & the address is masked.

Sorry I was prob no help at all. Just guessing.

Use the hyperlink button (the blue world with the chainlink). Type what you want it to say, highlight it, then click the hyperlink button and put the URL.

or if you just view you thread and copy paste the url in your sig then it aoutomatically changes it to show the thread title as a hyperlink

K, thanks peeps! moving in the right direction here....

I'm going to try the hyperlink button, which is actually what I used to get it this far, but this is the convention that I'm trying to make work here:

<A HREF="mywebpage.html">My Web Page</A>

I just used url tags exactly like the quote tags only with URL in them
note though that with them you don't need the href stuff
