What about the blanket behind the film?? Then you get the blockage and still reflective. Or I like the double/triple over the windows.
I don't want the blankets up. They trap dust / dirt with the windows open. I want to be able to cut holes in the center of the window for ducting. I'm going to take most of the poly down and layer it multiple times. Hopefully that will work. I won't know til around 7:00 am. This summer im going to throw up some thermal mylar too. Its very expensive for a 50 x 10. Well expensive for reflective material..

But you netted those quilts yourself, or did you get them from Psuzy homemaker.

I used it with 100% blockage. My only issue is the gaffers tape I used doesn't stick worth beans. I am also starting to see mildew on the glass where moisture is trapped between the glass and the Panda.
try to lace your room with phome for insulation and sound proofing also use gorilla tape its white and its the shit!!!!! strips on the top and on the bottom and cock them..

triple layer panda worked yaaaaaaa.... Now to do other window tonight. Didn't want to both if it was a failure. No need for redundancies. always had slight leaks. Nothing major. No issues. No leaks now. Pitch black deprevation chamber. Pardon my deprived sleepness ..... I'm a little baked out... Should probably smoke and pass out. Been working tough. Lots o work my friends... Now back to it....

note to self need to find quality thermal mylar. Meh Amazon.. Need to find in person... Got some time... Nutes and next soil mix....
May stay with 5 gal with next plant #'s
got pretty big girls 50/50 soil / coco . Until I narrow down phenos to 10 gals ....

2 cents. DuroFoam @ HD in 4'x8' sheets, mylar-like reflective film on one side, they cost about $13 in Canada for the 3/4" sheets, if you're in the US they're probably $8/each. If you look at the stuff up close it has the same "bubbles" they use in light reflectors. Pretty sure this shit was designed for grow rooms - lol You can screw it, nail it, glue it, velcro it, whatever to hold it in place. Provides both reflectivity and insulation, my girls are liking it...

I love that foam/Mylar stuff but the foil tape does not stick to the Mylar. I am going to look for some silver Mylar tape.

i find too much heat can unstick the foil tape
if you want something to stick and never come down use carpet tape lol
or other types of double sided tape can work well
being sticky on both sides it gives a better bond
no air or moisture will get between the surfaces you stick
but it will pull paint or wallpaper off the wall when you remove it
good thing about that foil tape is it does not cause much damage when you do remove it

peace

that brand i have used for years.. i have had 120 degree days and no issues...stays sticking for years... moisture / high humidity wont cause it to unstick either.. It pulls paint too..
