I am 7 weeks into flowering and bottom leaves are yellowing and dropping

i agree with you max i say keep them green! i never have the yellowing effect on my plants because house and garden part a&b stays in equal parts through veg and flower you just increase ppm so you never get a drop in nitrogen like most nute lines do when you switch to bloom nutes. also he should really do a PK spike about now to get those buds nice and fattened up.

I have seen the house and garden nute line, looks good and i like their style. A new one to me but they probably been on the market for years now and i never noticed them, is it an american company or european? Peace

Eventually i need to find a more complete set of ferts that is more rounded towards growing weed and especially with good cal/mag. I see canna is very weak in cal/mag and require all water to be at 200ppm before adding ferts, although you wouldnt notice them saying this as they keep this part in small print!lol! If there the same as canna it would not be suitable for me although i use canna terra plus soil a lot these days and it seems really good compared to my previous soils.

Seems to be a big resurgence in dutch companies at the moment and some british companies getting very popular too, all i got to do is find the one that is suited for soft water and has the NPK ratios i want, the search goes on!lol! PEace

King, you should think about mixing your own nutes up. I have read that H&G is some pretty good stuff but then there are some people that say it works just as good as anything else. hmmmmmm my local hydro shop doesn't carry it yet but if he ever does start to carry it I might give their bloomers a shot.

Yer max you really got a good point about this \Nitrogen for flowering, i been using a balanced NPK during flowerin 8:8:8 for few weeks and its much better than whats recomended, last few weeks i go higher on the P and K but yer i need a good healthy supply of it for most of the flowering.

That plant dose look N deficient a lot, i can see it now. Definatly not potassium or phosphorous, got to be nitrogen looking that pale.

Can this guy post the results of adding a higher dose of nitrogen to these plants as i am really intrested in this particular thread, it dose indicate N deficiency and want to see results. Peace
Im goin to listen to my boi max and I will post pics in a week or so to let you guys check my lil ladies out

well i got busted today lost my five plants it took 6 oficers 2 at the front 2 at the back and 2 in the house 2 patrol cars and a van, i told them it was just an experiment for my arthritus pain so they slapped me with a fixed penalty £80 phew!!! but still gutted they did say they were loverly healthy plants, i only fed them on miracle grow all purpose and clorine treatment for fishtanks they were just starting to bud i asked them to leave me the bamboo canes and ties, pots(which they did -so obliging)i'm just a little old lady trying to releave my pain! i expect they will come back next year just to make sure i'm not at it again

Hey thanks max, i been thinking about that and a few other options. To be honest i went with biobizz cause they were organic and recomended. Yer they are good but i feel like i want a fert that works for my area and tap water without all the extra supplements. Trying to keep it as simple as possible but its a big market out there and to be honest too many choices.

I am mulling over the idea of going totally organic with bat guano and a few other similar amendments but am so undecided that i seem to be holding off for a while. How do you choose from hundreds of products! Anyway the dutch and local UK companies seem to be more assecible these days since the trend to grow your own veg at home and i have a much wider choice than a few years ago.

After my cal/mag escapades i want to look into ferts in more detail, you and a few others have really peaked my intrests and blown away the old NPK ratios and what i thought was right. Sh!t man my plants are loving the nitrogen for flowering, greening them up a treat and almost all the plant looks healthy right up till the end. Every time i look into somthing my plants improve, really enjoying myself recently but still some problems to work through. The fine details of growing weed need a science degree to understand but luckily i have this site and you guys to make me think outside the box a bit more.

In time i will make a new purchase of ferts but until then i still got a third of a litre of bio grow and bloom. Seaweed is my best weapon, kicks ass on the trace elements and really seems to compliment most ferts. I am seriously tempted to buy one bottle of ferts, even NPK like 8:8:8 and see how that goes for a whole grow, veg and flowering but i need to stop experimenting as i have yet to dial my grow in.

As for this thread i am really loving those big buds, the plant looks like some runty spindly thing until you see them fat colas on top, looks like its gona be a good yeild.

Hey bud check out Jacks Pro, they have a great 15-5-15 with 4%cal and 2%mag. I use that for veg. I use the 14-5-38 for flowering. $30 for a 25lb bag. Lasts forever at 1tsp/gallon
