I am starting my first grow with critical Kush from Barney’s farm auto plants that are finished in 9 weeks. PERFECT for me rite now I have some photo seeds but I will wait until I get some out and I don’t have to buy while getting questionable stuff. I want to grow in soil and I was thinking of starting the seeds in root riot and then in a 10-15 gal cloth or Air pot directly. I am looking into organic growing as I said it is my first grow.
thank you for assistance BAM

Ayeeee I'm growing some critical kush!!!
1st time hydro dwc grow!!! Looking very nice so far!
I wouldn't do more than like 4 plants in a 4x4 tent! Unless you're going from the SOG tek!
I have 2 running in a 2x2 tent and it's just right IMO

The equation is how many watts per square meter. The strain and if you train them, or have a SOG set up too https://www.urbanorganicyield.com/how-many-watts-per-square-foot-for-led-grow-lights/#1_Determine_the_Size_of_Your_Grow_Space_in_Square_Meters

I believe that light has 4 x 4 feet of flower coverage. If you set up a SOG grow. You're looking at 20-25 plants. They'll have small yields but it stacks up multiplied by 25. If growing auto indica dominate plants, 4 max, and thats pushing it. They stay short and stocky. If you do some heavy LST and high stress training. You may get six medium sized plants to do well. I have a Valspectra par600 paired with 2 Mars ts600s And i am very pleased with Mars lights for the price point and customer service. i highly recommend buying the extended 3 yr warranty they offer

Second that mars light notion! They're killing it for my plants! :)
And for the price??? Speaks for itself

Good setup, run as many plants as you want to fit but as mentioned 3 is an awkward number.

I do often run 2 big plants (6ft end of flower) in a 4x4 because it leaves room for airflow, fans, and getting in and out of the tent.

Thanks for the advise I popped 3 seeds I see that they will be Aquarell but that is only if they all survive. Plan for the worst, I want an ounce in 9 weeks. Hope for the best if I get 3oz that would be excellent.

an ounce? thats a 450w led with probably around an efficiency of near 2 ppfd/watt. its a big powerful light.

i would take a 4ft x 4 square, put 9 clones in it, and hope for 2 or more oz off each plant under that beast.

Depends on how you are growing and when you plan on flipping. I run 9 plants in a 4x4 all the time. Takes a little pruning back or can just flip a little earlier. If growing from seed you will get some variation so keep that in mind when having to accommodate them. The idea of clones is much easier to manage canopy. It is all up to you though. More plants usually equals more yield and quicker yield if managed properly but like Biggie said, "More plants more problems"

You may be thinking of Christopher's cannabis farming cousin.

Not with me I am cooking this just for me and 3 is enough especially for now I will see how much I waste once I have essentially an unlimited supply. With concentrates and everything.
