I am back again with more problems, please help!

Thanks again my man and I will definitely check on your link. I live I central america, rather not say in which country.

I can get perlite and all the stuff you guys use in the US via Amazon but as they are imported they are subject to tax and if you add shipping and handling it gets very expensive.

If you can get the rice hulls do that fer sure. If you are afraid to say what country you live in you probably don't need to be ordering gardening supplies over the web. :peace:

Exactly LOL. I will try the rice hulls when I change the soil if they do not get better in a few days...

Thanks!

OH Damn dude, thats all ya had to say!! Can you get out into the jungle any? If you can get a bit out there, get out and dig up all you want of the soil. I know Guatemala, and that is PERFECT soil for the top 18" or so. It has to be pretty close to what you have available. I wouldn't worry too much about pests, you can always bake the soil since you are using chem ferts any way. But shit, If I were you, I'd use indigenous soil, and go organic!!!

EWC = Earth Worm Castings

You need to make friends with the locals, and find yourself some good Sativa Landraces. They got it going ON down there!! They can also teach you a great deal about growing as well, especially the Mayas.

The Jungle is very close to me that´s why I thought the soil options I had were a good guess as they are all local companies.

I live far south from Guatemala, closer to Nicaragua and I am not using chemical ferts but organic ferts.

I have been living in this country for more than a decade and I know indegenous that grow weed are far away from me.

Thanks again!

The key to a good soil is structure. It has to have a mix of aggregates to give aeration and drainage. This ought to help you:

Man, I am definitely planning on at least one more trip to Guatemala. I know a family there that grows on their family land and has some fantastic weed! They live at the base of a Volcano and that would explain the great soil they have. I LOVE exploring the Mayan ruins, and have been to Tikal many times. Mayan culture and civilization is one of my passionate interests. I can't learn enough about it!!

Thanks for the link, I will be checking it ASAP.

Re potted my plants today, added 50% rice hulls into the mix, I think, and the rest was distributed in equal parts of my previous mix, worm castings, organic matter and seabird guano... Soil mix definitely look better now, let´s see how the plants take it.

I am sure nobody is following this anymore but felt like writing it :mrgreen:.

Thanks.
