Its really lovely here ive been here in the north central part for almost 10 years, before here i lived in memphis and before there it was N.C

If you're moving to Tennessee, avoid anything West Tennessee, ESPECIALLY MEMPHIS.
I'm glad to have moved away from that hellhole last year.
Try for some mountain area east of Nashville.

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with memphis you just have to get used to it.

How long have you lived there? Were you there when Herenton told those cops busting a guy with a load of coke "Don't you have anything better to be doing?"
Memphis nearly KILLED me, thanks to the inability of the Memphis courts to keep a habitual repeat motor vehicle offender off the fucking road and in a prison cell? They let the man violate his probation NINE TIMES and only serve 5 days on average for each time he violated. Dude's got a rap sheet thicker than my wrist.
Let's not get started on Cops around Memphis, especially Bartlett, Germantown, and Collierville cops.
Let's not forget about the "African Autobahn," Highway 385, or Malfunction Junction I-240/I-55 exchange.
Memphis is a SHITHOLE. Go check out South Parkway if you don't believe me, I used to live and work out there before getting lucky and scoring a place out at Shelby and Riverdale, and I heard shoot outs daily with NO COP RESPONSE.
And as a final point to reasnos why Memphis is a shithole, I only need two words, and any true Memphian knows what I'm talking about (I lived there 14 years.)

Oh, and the tornado that pretty much ripped the top half of the Hickory Ridge Mall clean off, I almost forgot about that.

*shivers* bah, when i lived in memphis i lived on hazlewood street. Just a few minutes from Treadwell, and damn it was a bad part of town, Damn glad to be outa memphis

i lived in memphis for the first 18 years of my life. ill agree it is a shithole but its my shithole.

Great weather, great people, great camping.
Cops suck a chode, but what can you do.
I'd go towards the Chattanooga area if you want peace and quite and to live in a mountain.
