I CANNOT find a spot to grow!

Hey,

Does anyone have tips on locating a spot for a guerilla grow? I scavenged everywhere and it either is a) private property (dont think I can get around this) or b) we have no way to hide the vehicle off the road.

Any tips on finding spots? I know its hard to give advice on this but I figured I would ask.

Try looking for a place where you know no one will go. The country is the best place go down some gravel roads that don't see many cars and, look for areas with lots of bushes/trees for covering your plants. I use to always grow on someone elses property because the part of Canada where I live we don't have many tree coverings, just fields used for farming.

Google Maps.......

Look for large areas of 'shitland'. As in the few hundred square feet of saw briers and various vines next to creeks and on property lines and especially places where the ground is uneven and in a bad location that no one would want to fuck with or build or clear for any reason.

Especially in rich neighborhoods. They buy a big piece of land in a subdivision with a few acres behind it. They landscape and tend the yard to a certain point and then say fuck it this is far enough and let the rest grow up. And they're less scary to encounter than rednecks in the back country (i.e. my backyard) because they may call the cops who I can outrun, but the rednecks....well...I can't outrun a Hornady slug.

Basically boils down to places people have no intent on going into....that you wouldn't never dare dream of going into if you weren't growing dope.

I'm in the same situation, EXACTLY the same, the best advice I've been given is to go fishing, find those side creeks where no one will fish, because there won't be big fish, but there may be minnows, so theres your cover.

I'm having a real rough time finding spots, its just hard and feels sketchy like you said when you have to have a car parked near, so you feel like your spot must be near there road for stealth, but I dunno, I think im just gonna say go fuck it and go walking for 5-10 hours one day, and just go crazy far and see if I can find a spot.. heard rock ledges can work, but you must use buckets and then insulate so the buckets dont heat up and dry out the roots...either way goodluck

i spent hours searching all over the forest behind my house and i found a very nice spot. though if you can't do this then try logged areas. on the mountain near where i live they have done tons of logging, thanks to that there are logging roads leading all over the mountain where you can discretly plant them between fallen logs, behind log piles etc...

Today me and my growing buddy went driving for 2-3 hours or so looking for a spot. We just headed down random roads out in the country, dirt roads, off road, etc. We even managed to get stuck in a mud bog and needed two trucks to pull us out (big thank you to Mr. F150, lol)

We kept finding nice areas with plenty of tree cover but 2 things that we couldn't get around was:
a) there was never a spot we could hide the truck
b) (not really a problem, but an annoyance) it was all private property with no trespassing posted on rotten old signs everywhere.
c) no water anywhere near it. We were thinking we could get a big plastic drum (or two) and somehow stealthy cover it up and let it catch rain water and we can use that for our plant water, would that work?

Oh...and Google Earth is a fantastic helper.

If you're already doing this with a friend then you shouldn't have to worry about hiding the truck. Drive til you find the spot. Then drive around a few more times and plan the best way to get to it. Have your buddy drop you with your spade and you go do your thing. Text him when you're done and then he gets to do the next one. Just remember where it is so you can come back the next night with your plant and soil or whatever

you could even make a game of it and see whose grows bigger

oh yeah, and if a spot looks good to you from google maps it probably looks good to anyone else looking at it too. I've met a lot of people who all they do is hunt pot. That's how they live and it works. It's fucked up, but I wouldn't be the one to tell them...that being said, they never used the google box and I imagine if they had been able to it would have made their job a lot easier

if you have a close friend or sibling that you can trust then google earth a place and have them drop you off. Then meet up somewhere a little different when your finished hiking?

I was thinking about growing in a provincial park. I don't think they even really look for grow ops out there. I have never seen any fly overs, nor authorities hunting through the bushes. If we managed to venture deep into the woods do you think it could work? Plus, doing this in the park gives us an excuse to leave the vehicle on the road...it just looks like we went hiking/biking.

Thoughts?

Yup, I actually have all of his videos lol. They are pretty helpful sometimes.

Try and find some nice long bushwalks near your area. Then just go hiking for a bit and see if you can find any good spots. This is what I did but then again I live in Australia and theres probably a lot more bush here....

I live in the suburbs on the outskirts of the city so the closest tree patches we have are about 15-20 minutes away. That provincial park being one of them.

So out of curiosity has anyone grown in a provincial park? How did it go?

Find an abandoned neighborhood. They are all over the place since the housing market went to shit. You are safe to plant because the housing market wont pick up for the next 2 years, its a low traffic area, and its easy to find a spot that gets good sun. If you live in the burbs you should have many choices within 20 minutes.

perhaps somebody's dog gets off the chain or a kid wanders off. you don't want it where people are likely to visit unless you can do it right under their noses.

large property in foreclosure, plant in hedgerows at back of property, its only good for1 grow. if anybody says anything tell them u work for the bank that owns it! arrgh thats how land pirates do it!!!

I'm gonna address the park idea. I don't think it's a good idea. Even though it looks normal to be parked there, people are there all the time. You don't want anyone to see you. Another thing is that people walk in the woods more than you might think, especially in a park! And assuming you'll be making several trips out you'll probably leave a trail, it's really hard not to.
