I eat fast food once in awhile. Not in excess. In moderation. MacDanalds is the only place that has decent fries around here. Burger King and Wendy's sucks now. I have a fryer though so I can deep fry my own fries.

Wendy's fries were the best in the business, hands down. They caught that starchy steak-fry nom nom nommishness. Now their fries have succumbed to the same damned fate as all the others, like the King and Carl's. "Focus group fries", I call them.
For some reason I don't especially like In'N'Out fries. It's the texture, I guess ... they're too much like veggi stix or summat. They have a vaguely "green" crunchy thing going on that doesn't work for me. An interim freezer step would fix that - but do violence to their "simple and fresh" philosophy. cn

And i've no self control, i just goto town, give me a 12 packet of crispw, i'll eat all 12 packs, within say 15 minutes I'll be a dead man long before any of this unhealthy eating catches up with me

Back when the Detroit Zoo had monkeys (still might, it's been a while for me) there was always one who would wait for a crowd and then start yanking it's crank like it was trying to pull it off and screaming laughter at the watchers. Total sado monkey. I really should go there more.

I'm surprised old McDonald even gave two shits. I'm literally blown away that they acctually changed the recipe. I heard they are changing lots of things now, after all the flack they have been getting for the last decade. Adding apples instead of fries to the kids meal is the biggest step I think. Those kids meal leave children with a very deep seeded love of McDonald's, due to the salty fries and kids toys and overall appeal of the kids meal. Then your hooked for life.
