I cut a dead leaf of where is connects to the stem will a new leaf grow or what?

I cut off a dead leaf with sterilized scissors but the stem is still there its a baby plant so it only had the one leaf on its stem will a new leaf grow or should I remove the stem?

Nah, it will fall off later.

Leaving the stem of the leaf will not harm it at all, just leave it alone. No it will not grow a new leaf.
