I cut clones from my plants that were in the first week of flowering.

I just read that it’s not good to cut clones from a plant in flowering. I cut 9 and all of them rooted in 10 days but are growing strangely. Should I sell them or keep growing them?View attachment 4943227View attachment 4943228View attachment 4943230View attachment 4943231View attachment 4943232View attachment 4943233
As long as they are under veg-type light cycle timing (I do 24/0, but you can do 18/6 or more light) they will reveg. The new growth will look weird for a week or two, or more depending how far they've gone into flower. They will go back to normal veg growth eventually. I take clones from the best flowering plants I get, no problem.

You just did your first monstercropping. They'll look a little funny for awhile, but those look like it barely started flowering so it might not be as bad as if you had waited longer to take cuttings.

Here's one I took at like day 21 from flip that revegged.

And a few weeks later.

Okgreat. It was my first time cutting clones and 9 out of 10 made it. I did some research and it’s called “monster cropping” when you take cuts from flowering plants. Thanks I appreciate the feed back. Cheers.

Maybe I am blind or missed his point, but I see no flowering plant… whats the deal?
I cut these almost a month ago so the little flowers have dried and disappeared. As you can see their not small clones anymore. I just didn’t want to keep growing them if I was just gonna waste my time with plants that gave small yields cause that’s what I heard.

When I have a flowering plant that looks like a keeper, I take clones, and whichever is the best looking clone, I use to make a mother. The next round of flower from clones cut from that mother is same as original plant.

I don't keep mothers. I take all my clones from my in flower plants usually at 2 weeks when I'm cleaning up their underskirts. I even take clones far later in flower and they do well, they just take longer to reveg. Congratulations on your successful cloning!

Quality stays where it is and if your environment does not change how the seasons come, than they will be identical every run.
