I don't know what I wanna go to school for...

Go with environmental science or engineering.. Always jobs available out there regarding the environment.

Considering the economy and national debt.

Panhandling 101. get papered in it, and smoke those other bums....BAM!!

I was once a psyc major. Its a rather useless degree to get. Even criminal psychology is pretty useless. I personally say go get a business degree in either Accounting or Finance. Management and marketing degrees are a dime a dozen and good jobs in this industries are rare. If you get a marketing degree more likely than not all you'll do is marketing research which is glorified telemarketing. Also why would a person hire someone with a management degree? Great you know the theories of being a manager, but what other business skills do you know...well next to nothing.

With an Accounting degree you can get a job in just about any sort of economic environment. Seriously Accountants are the last ones to get fired. They are the back bone of business.

I will say if you get a business degree your grades will count when trying to find a job so studying hard is a must and a familiarity with numbers goes a long way.

Another degree you might want to get is an english degree. Seriously corporations love to hire literate people to write memos, public addresses, and formal speeches.

yeah.. i don't know about panhandeling... and yeah.. i've thought about the long english classes and everything.. and I think I might could do it.. I don't know.. i'm thinking about following in your footsteps and going for horticulture...i've always wanted a big ass corn field... I don't know... i just don't wanna go for something and get burned out.. or get some stupid ass degree thats useless... or lands me some shitty job where I stay stressed out...

I could never do accounting.. i'm not good with numbers.. at all.. I get by if I have to because I have a burning desire to learn... but i'm a word person... written word above spoken.. but thats because i'm nervous and shy... maybe i should just be a writer...

Criminal psychology... interesting, but that means dealing with coppers on a regular basis. And bad guys.

And journalism is an interesting field, but extremely competitive and stressful.

And the traveling gets to be a burden very soon.

My advice, talk to people in any field you are thinking about.

Have you thought about law school? We could always use more criminal defense attorneys.

thats the cool thing with the Hort degree... thats never useless... people always need food, and food from the earth is where all the good nutrients, vitamins, etc are...

who knows... i may just end up moving out in the woods somewhere nicer and starting up a little farm.... go back to the old ways; drop out i guess

lol.. hell yeah. that'd be cool.. if I ate veggies i'd be down... but i'm a meat eater.. a reverse vegetarian if you will...lol.. but I can't kill animals.. so I couldn't be a farmer... I just wanna live behind a corn field..lol..

thats why i'm not really too keen on journalism.. I can do the odd ours.. and I would love to travel.. i just do't like the competitiveness of it.. the stress that comes along with it... thats why I was thinking of becoming a writer.. because i'm pretty creative and can tell stories in great detail and am very imaginative... and expressive in my writings...


I could deal with the bad guys with no problem... i've always had a fascination with killers.. why they do what they do what makes them tick... the cops.. I could get by.. aslong as they do what they do professionally and whatever...
