I don't know why I did this

So about 4 or 5 days ago I read an thread on RIU about not letting the plant over grow itself.

I pruned my plant back by cutting off like 2 dozen fan leafs. Some were larger than my hand, most were around the 4 - 5 inch range. I trimmed it when it was still in Veg. stage at 4 weeks. The flower cycle started last night. DID I DO A BAD THING?

you didnlt do a very smart thing.
taking off too much at one time can stunt the plant for a few days.
next time, take off those leave over the course of 4-5 days.
