first, if it's in print i would love to see it or be linked to it. i read books and books and books. all i ever saw was reduction of light not elimination of light hastens ripening. and i'm pretty sure i read on here somewhere that the resins that the plant makes are a response to light and so since we want those resins why would you reduce the amount of light to zero? i don't get it.
I would like to know more about this also. I have read it in a few different places, have never tried it first hand. I know on some strain descriptions it has stated to do that, may just be a marketing thing, never can tell.
My simple understanding is that the plant has enough stored energy to keep growing for about 48 hours once the light is off, and light degrades THC so the additional darkness would let the p[lant produce without any degrading, have only read this and not tried it.
Gonna sub this would like to learn more about it.
