I have noticed that, people who have to work far too hard for the little they get, so hard in fact they never get to enjoy the money they're working for. I can see how that would make someone a little angry. I don't pity them though, I pity those who want to work but can't due to petty cannabis possession convictions.

Demonstrably not correct. You labeled my first post on How Old as illegitimate and me as ridiculous. As near as I can tell it was without cause or provocation. This conforms to even my most forgiving standard of being a target of meanness.

I requested clarification. You elected to ignore my post. In my considered opinion, this does not help your claim. If you can make a compelling case that I have been an asshole first, I will pay attention. cn

Thank you Brandon, but it is in neither my interest or nature to want to "score" off someone else. I am commenting on a dissonance between Bblzs' image of how she behaves ... and my image of how she behaved. I would prefer understanding to winning. cn

how can we "not judge" people? that's warm fuzzy talk, not reality.

example, let's say someone makes a comment that i find offensive/ignorant/rude/whatever. can i help thinking that they are a douchebag? i can keep quiet about it, but i can't "un-evaluate" that person's actions. i don't have to verbally call them a douche, but the judgement has been made.

personally i find it unreasonable to go through life without EVER verbalizing these observations and judgements.

on the other hand there's a time and place for everything and a LOT of people need to check their watch before they speak, but since judgements/evaluations are subjective, there's almost no point worrying about perception. just be.

I personally think that not judging is as easy as accepting you're not right about everything. If you accept you might be wrong, then you can accept someone else might be right....then they're not a douche bag, they just have an interesting point of view.

isn't the mere evaluation of the person's point of view being interesting a "judgement"? i can decide that someone is a turd or i can decide they are just coloring the rainbow of life, but either way i had to decide. some days nothing can jack my mood, other days i snap if someone coughs. maybe on monday they are a turd but on tuesday they are just quirky (in my eyes). maybe on wednesday they're god. even when we applaud a joke we have made a judgement.

perhaps a better question would be "why do people take emotions to such extremes?" why is it not good enough to just observe to oneself that someone is bothersome/humorous/kind/etc.? why the billboard? sure, no one complains when someone points out a nice smile but mention the back fat and lose some teeth. it's all one and the same if you ask me but somehow i'm expected to know everyone's buttons and avoid them, so i try to play the game and keep my mouth shut.

and by the way, i'm NEVER wrong
