i often say that if i ever get a terminal illness i will get a gun and settle some scores before i go , i wonder how many people actualy go through with that kind of threat ?
I don't want to die..

Your body creates a voltage naturally. Before your body stops working, that energy ceases to remain in that body.Ummmmmm... Prove it..
No one can pinpoint where that energy resides in the body or how or where it exits. To be clear the voltages ceases before the body stops working. It's gone before the functioning of the heart and lungs stop.
To me its pretty weird the order in which that occurs. I do believe YOU are in control of your body, for the most part.
You fear that which is associated with the word death, not actually the act of leaving your body. If people explained the process differently to each other it wouldn't sound so bad. Perspective. its like taking clothes off is how I see it. I think we fear death because we associate it with loss, remorse, guilt, all sorts of baad emotions, and they all come from us who are still here. The dead bodies obviously don't care, so why should we. Its not like a crying baby, or distressed person we want to help. Its us reacting to the situation we can no longer control.(your relationship with the passed). So we are left powerless to change that relationship.
Something else I find intriguing, the structure of the neuron nets of our brain, form and look identical to the nebula and gas clouds, newly forming in the universe. it all works the same.
I'm not sure there is a way to prove that the soul is eternal.
If you stay alive for ever, you'll get board of it eventually. At some point you will have done everything there is to do, said everything there it to say.. then what.. sit around thinking the same shit over and over, or talk to the same people over and over. However you slice it you will wind up back where you are right now.
Figure out what is eating at you now and face it. Then nothing will scare you.!
