I think since the hurricane I've made a few "returns" to the forum just to vanish again when I was overwhelmed with life... Not sure whats been said or hasn't... So I won't bore you too much...
House is about 65% done... I went as far as I could and was told to stop and wait on the city's program as any more work I do I won't be reimbursed for... Waiting on the government/city (Build It Back program) to get us a contractor to finish. We've been approved for $210,000 to raise the house, redo the roof, siding, deck, windows etc. but all their contractors are at capacity and we're being told it might be "sometime this summer" before they start the work.... Obviously while the house is being raised we have to live elsewhere for 6 months... Talk about being fucked by a hurricane for 4 years in a row...
As for old AF-100 relic... That light has been great. I've been using it off and on since you sent it to me. It has more than paid for itself. As a matter of fact I now have two tents and that AF100 is the star of the veg tent now... The wife has been super supportive and bought me a XGS190 last year for Christmas... About a month ago I got myself 2x-RW-75's to add to the flower tent as well.
Those new units run so quiet I've been wanting to open up the AF100 just to replace the two 120mm fans with new 19 dBa ones. haha. It's your unit though, So I never even tried. =D

Yeah... Lots of shit with the gov't. They keep changing things... but If in the end I get $200k worth of work done without anything (more) coming from my pocket, I'll be happy...

With your last reply I took the liberty of opening the panel up to change those fans... Man, I wish i didn't. I forgot how old the panel is/was. The fans were caked with dust, grime, etc so I decided to clean them before replacing them to see if some of that was causing noise. That was the first mistake. The fan came apart at the bearings in my hand... REPLACED.
The second fan I decided to go a little easier on knowing how old and fragile they were.... Forget it. The fins started breaking in my hands. They were just dried and rotted. REPLACED.
The inside was filled and caked dust that I decided to brush off and vacuum clean... Well, I mustve hit something or jostled another part that was old and dried out because after I put it all together again half the lights are out (Flower mode) and 2 diode in veg are 'low' compared to the rest.
I'll have to open it open and see what's going on but I was just too lazy yesterday. I only need it for vegging so I'm in no big hurry... I tossed it in the veg tent already...
I guess I should be asking one of the LED guru's whether or not running that fixture is dangerous or not...?

Omg. The infamous Metro Vacuum. I think Psuagro persuaded me to buy that thing a few years ago... Yup, just checked Amazon "You purchased this item on July 25, 2012." <---Mustve been lost in the flood. Boy was that fucker loud. Can't I just blow from my mouth?
Seriously though, Yeah I mustve knocked a driver connection loose. I'll deal with it later today. This is why you should check your work before you reassemble! hah.
