Hell, i'm puffing on some $5 a g outdoor mix right now b/c i'm waiting for payday. Not the best tasting. Not the prettiest. But just got me as high as the $10 g's i smoked earlier AND provided me with the cbd's and cbn's that my body needs to fight fibro.

Like MOST anyways.

Imagine if you will a dispensary that is a completely closed circuit until the consumer. Buy their genetics, grow their crop, harvest/cure/concentrate their OWN meds, and then supply them to consumers. A LOT of middlemen cut out of that equation. And THAT'S where the high prices really come from.

@ OP So if one is selling "meds" it should be cheap. What about one selling for recreation? $20/g okay?

Under the Regulate Marijuana Like Wine intitiative cannabis is treated like wine. Legal with reasonable taxes and regulation while preserving the personal right for 25 plants and 12 lbs of bud.

Just b/c something has medicinal value doesn't mean it should be expensive. You're comparison of "med" prices is laughable morally imho. MEDS should be as cheap and safe as possible. Canabis meets both those requirements. If one CHOOSES to say he/she recreationally wants to use then they can grow or choose which quality/price range fit their budget.

So in the end, yes. You're correct. If one CHOOSES to recreationally smoke the best weed available they can pay for the time and effort that wonderful endeavor takes. But for those that need it MEDICALLY, they should be able to grow their own or pay fair market value.

No, don't get me wrong, if people are sick and NEED medication, then of course it should be cheap. I was just trying to point out that if there was a legal market for cannabis, could some shops sell for recreation and some medical? And would it be ok for the recreational shops to sell at regular prices? Or must ALL weed be $1 an ounce?

when i produce more than my wife and i use, i let the excess go at $5/gram, as that is the average cost of supplies and utilities, as per state law.

i just got back from colorado, where i had to peruse the open market for my meds. i paid nearly $15 a gram for bud that barely got me high. nonetheless, a demand was still satisfied.

hydro containers 7 dollars bought a box of small containers for five dollars and add 2 dollars for a plastic shoe box at b1glots
i use super natural nutrients bought both flowering and veg for 30 bucks
timer 8 bucks
add 15 dollar fan
i had a old pump so that was free
time to add it up $71.00 dollars

how much does a ounce of HIGHS go for 300.00 ? maybe even more
lets say one plant produces 1 once (althought it can easily do 2) lets keep it reasanable
you grow 10 plants every plant produces a once equals to $3000.00

now i dont know about you but 3k is more than enough to cover what i spend and. more there really is no justification for this to keep on happening
