I dont spend all my time growing autos since i dont think the yield is that great etc etc BUT

If you grow in a tent this is a good idea for some earlier bud while your waiting on your photo period plants.

Its kind of a cheat for impatient people.

If your growing from seeds it takes atleast 8-9 weeks vegging for your plants to sexually mature from seed before you can flower, this includes the 2-3 week period of germanation and seedling stage.

This whole time the light in your tent is in 18-6 or 24-0 .... both lighting schedules recommended for optimum auto flower growth and the same 8-9 weeks it takes for autos to be ready from seed.

So, with that in mind.... stick a couple auto plants in your tent in any spare space you got at the start of your grow and bang....

As your about to flip your bigger girls youll have 2-3 or more auto plants ready to chop for some pre-harvest smoke.

I always knew auto flowers where good for something lol

Enjoy people and i hope some of you roll with this idea it really does work at no extra cost and at no extra effort lol

how big do autos grow that you have done? i dont have the means to make extracts and im too lazy to sit around making rosin lol

Don't let them fool ya, autos are cannabis ruderalis... They can grow to be massive even with a preset life term. I did a white widow auto in a tent and the thing ended up 6 ft tall AFTER being topped a couple times. Not the greatest yield or smoke, but still worth the small effort it takes.

i always read it was bad to top autos? i did the blue dream autos from hso and got just shy of 1.5 oz a plant and it was very acceptable smoke

6ft is crazy though lol

It can be, but I've found in most cases it's just fine. The key is to top very early and provide the best growing conditions you can to allow the plant to recover. IMO, the ones that dont respond well to training likely have poor/unstable genetics. Which happens to be a lot of autos on the market. Gotta do research and accept that it's a small gamble either way.

2-4 feet on average, I usually pull at least an oz per auto grown in 2 gal smart pots, 2-3 autos at a time. Sometimes I'll yield more but you never know if you'll get good yielders or not since you're growing from seed and can't clone.

I had been having my brother do my BHO runs but recently started doing them myself. A couple auto plants usually yields us around 10-15g of oil.

You don't have to make concentrates out of them, just a suggestion for people who aren't happy with the potency of auto flowers.

You can train them but the window is short because you don't want to stress them at all in flower. I'll top or FIM once at the third set of leaves and then let them do their thing. I think they respond just fine if you train them when they can still get a week of recovery before transitioning to flower.

You didn't find anything. And if you grew a 6 foot blue dream and only got 1.5 oz off each you did something wrong. In fact I wouldnt tell anyone else that. My tallest plant now is 2 feet and I haven't even chopped yet and I'm on week 11. I know I got a zip a pop. Blue dream are heavy girls. And you were supposed to get at least a qp. Off 6 feet.
