I FUCKED UP BIG TIME. Help! Pics attached

So here's the deal, to make a long story short i had some bag seed laying around mid July and i decided to start to grow it, i did okay at first, decent soil, good lighting out in the sun since they were only seedlings and only noticeable to other growers/smokers they did fine in germination until it was time to veg in the closet. i didnt have proper lighting..didnt know how to manage my soil..underwatering and over watering...alot of stress on my plants, you get the picture, big noob(Still am) and i kind of got frustrated and just said id maintain them until i could get better lights, well here we are at the beginning Of September, they have alot of stretching but theyve been maintaining, the soil is decent, dry on the top right now, but its organic soil with a bit of pertile and sand and i add in nitrogen nutes from watering to watering

however, they are stretched like hell, and since i didnt know how to place my lighting its growing in other places, not in some, and its sort of dry in the room

just today ive introduced a much better fan, 3x 200 w(only two plants) cfl, a 20/4 lighting schedule and i plan to buy a couple more lights once i flower..if i do
i actually have some money laying around so i can do it right..but id rather not spend too much. might even spring for MH for flowering.all advice is considered but please dont bust my balls :S even though i deserve it.

Tl;dr i fucked up big time RIU i beg of you for your assistance. 1.5.jpg1.jpg2.jpeg

2012-09-10_21-02-39_892.jpglook how close I keep my cfls! Took that pic last night btw. What size is the pot?Your plant wasnt getting sufficient lighting and that's why it stretched, keep the Cfls nice and close with a fan blowing right on them.

Yea gotta keep em close. Id just bend that skinny stem right over in half towards inside of the pot. Look up supercropping and LST

that nug looks like you cut a little to early

to the op...... you are going to have to stagger the lights because that plant is pretty large for cfls. Either hang them at different heights or use one of those standing light fixtures that looks like an octopus and you can bend them into position.

as some stated you can pretty much place a cfl as close as possible and your plants look like they are a bit under watered too. as for killing them, there's no need. you can either lst them or top them to bring down the profile while promoting side branching at the same time. hope that helps.

also forgot to mention to be careful with the fans, make sure they are at a certain distance if you plan on running them at full speed.

Kill it, start from scratch. Do it right. Build a box on the cheap or spend some money on a proper setup. Do your research while doing so, so you don't fuck up again. and buy some fem seeds.
