Regarding the peeing.... you gotta control the water intake and take him out 10 - 15 minutes after he drinks. He's just a baby and can't hold it yet.
You can actually train your dog to go on command..... it takes a commitment... but if you stick to it ... it will work. You have to say "go potty" "go potty" "go potty" "go potty" "go potty" "go potty" "go potty" repeatedly EVERYTIME You take him out. then when he starts to tinkle say "good boy.... go potty" "good boy.... go potty" "good boy.... go potty" "good boy.... go potty" say it the whole time he's tinkling.
You can also train for #2 using the same method but pick a different term.... I used "go poo poos" "go poo poos" "go poo poos" "go poo poos"
LOL... I know it sounds silly... but Jack ... and my last dog Digger (R.I.P. Baby) were trained to go on command.... both #1 and #2.
For those that think it's crazy..... I can tell you it really does come in handy when going on road trips and stopping to let the dog go at a rest stop... in the rain... and you want them to get their business done fast because there is nothing worse then the smell of a sopping wet dog in the car. I just say "JACK... go potty"... and he tinkles.... then I say "JACK... go poo poos".... and he quickly finds a spot and drops a load.
There are a bunch of times when having him trained to go on command comes in handy.....
