I got my marijuana back

I actually got my marijuana back. I walked out of the pismo beach pd with a clear sealed evidence bag.
In the bag: Two ounces of NorternLights x Bluetrainwreck and close to an ounce of Purple Kush.

My phone died while recording the more than 20-min exchange. if anyone knows how to transcode courrpt 3gp files lemmie know.

I was stopped for having a pine-tree air-freshener in my rear view(bogus cause).
The officer said he was going to search because he smelled marijuana.
I informed him he had no probable cause to search.
I am legally entitled to the 'contraband' in question.

After I refused the search and showed my recommendation for
marijuana, I was placed under arrest for 'disorderly conduct'.
After the search of my vehicle. I was cited for possession of marijuana,
obstruction in the rear-view, and disorderly conduct.

The DA, after reviewing the evidence, dismissed all but the obstruction in the rear-view.
I pleaded not-guilty and the cop didnt show up so that charge was also dismissed.

Moral Of the Story:
Stand your ground.
Do not admit to anything but your name.
Fight it all the way.

big congrats!!!! i would find a norml lawyer and sue their asses off! probably do it pro-bono!!! check the norml website!!!! Again, great news!!!!

dude if i could carry a big ol bag of weed through the cop shop in plain view knowing it was just handed to me by a cop and them knowing i was leaving witth it and there is nothing anybody could do , i would smile the whole way through AFTER i opened it at the counter to smell it ( to verify it mine of course) before leaving. that would be like winning the lotto. mad reps to you . i now have a new fantasy.kiss-ass

That's great, dude. I waited 25 years to finally be legal. So I moved here last year and got my recommendation. It is a very liberating feeling to know I'm legal. Now we just need more good news like yours to make headway on the legal and social fronts. I dream of the day when I can stand out in the open sun and say "I smoke marijuana and I will not be ashamed or frightened of who knows it! So to anyone who doesn't like it, SCREW YOU!" Ha, that would be so great -fffffffooooooo, ahhh, yeah man.
