I had no idea they could get so tall in such little pots!!! 5 1/2 foot female!!!

The Gear and method:
So we're using the Sunburst 250watt MH light from our local hydro shop and Botanicare's 8 plant microgarden drip system with triflex nutes. The space is about 3'L 2'W and 6 feet tall. Seeds came from some reg bag weed. We started at the beggining of August w/ only a 24 watt floro strip mounted above the seedlings. I think we started 8 and 6 succesfully sprouted. We kept the light cycle on for 18/6 and unknowingly (before i found RIU) kept the water on 24/7 for a few days, until i did discover RIU and got the drip on 3-4 times a day for 3-5 minutes each watering. They are fed with RO water and after nutrients are added I balance the pH to a steady 6.0-6.2. Water is changed every 1-2 weeks.

Ok, so we vegged them for 5-6 weeks until we switched to a 12/12 flowering cycle. At this point, the tallest plant which we named Pat (because we still weren't sure of sex, lol) was already 2 1/2 feet. First white hairs showed after about a week, very exciting. I also stopped feeding it the grow stage nutrients and added the bloom formula. The plants have now been growing like crazy. i have had to raise the light constantly. we spotted the 3 males and picked them immediately. One of the plants even got burnt due to it growing and touching the light while i was asleep. it's fine now. there are now obvious clusters of some dank lookin bud for being bag weed. the hairs are white and vibrant and crystals are spreading all over the leaves. Pat is now 5 1/2 feet, the next one is about 5', and the smaller one, which is also the best one, is about 3 1/2-4 feet. I was wondering if this was common for them to keep getting so tall! I'm running out of space, and time unfortunately. I have had to tie all three of them down in different positions to help keep them down, a form of LST if you will. Sorry the pics are shitty as I only have the camera on my mac book so yeah. and comments, suggestions, anything is definitely welcome and appreciated.

What i mainly forgot to mention (because i'm stoned) was that i have kept them in 6 inch pots!

thanks for takin a look hellraizer. those were my guesses too. i was thinkin it was an outdoor sativaish strain. like i said, the seeds came from a bag of mersh. i only sprouted them because i wanted to test the new hydro setup, and we just let them grow.

yeah man, definitely. I checked out nirvana and decided that i want to try my hand at growing some white rhino because i haven't seen, smelled, or smoked any in a long while as well as even hear of it going around. Has anyone grew white rhino indoor before? if so, how was your yield and what was your setup?

thats a fine looking grow area you got there. how do you vent it? those plants look a bit stretched but looks like everything else is going good. good luck.
