When a man becomes apart of The United States Army Infantry his greatest act of bravery has already been accomplished. What he does after that is all in the line of work. I have no ambition in this world but one, and that is to be a Combat Infantry Scout. The position in the eyes of some on this forum may appear to be a lowly one; but only us who actually know the work of a infantry man and what he has to do; believe that his is a unique and noble calling. My proudest moment is to save lives. What you people consider being a hero, I consider just doing my job.

Not a hero yet buddy, you haven't even been deployed yet or have you. I thought you were a scout, but you just said that your only ambition is to be an infantry scout. It really doesn't matter either way just keep fellating your own ego, that seems to really make you feel good:mrgreen:

Your bullshit is starting to stink up my house, you are clueless and brainwashed. Your job as an Infantry man is to do as you are told you moron. You do not save lives, you take them! It is your job to make sure the guy next to you comes home along with you. You disgrace the Army by using drugs and making an idiot out of yourself and other military man/woman.
And as to what I consider a hero you dweeb, a man/woman that can reach beyond the duality in their mind, justify the scales of the rage within and then act from their humanity. Don't even try to figure that out, it will be a while for you, which is perfectly ok, just slow down a little on being a dumb-ass.

The soldiers blood is the seed of Freedom's tree. This nation will remain the land of the free "only" because of my men - the home of the brave! I'ts extremely important for us all to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes! Why do we take for granted the things that most deserve our gratitude? No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.
