I hate firefox!

Firefox freezes up on me at least twice a day, I've done the updates but that doesn't help. Besides explorer what other internet browsers are there? What do you use?

Have you tried Chrome yet? I did for a while - it's not bad at all, but there were too many FF extensions that I was missing. Also, I've used Opera in the past... like FF, there is a lot of tweaking and customizing that you can do; overall I thought it was pretty nice. But, in the end, I still like FF the best.
You could try creating a 2nd FF profile with no extensions/add-ons and see if it still acts up (I'm going under the assumption that you are using some extensions). If it works fine, then start adding your extension to that profile slowly (one every few days) and see if you can find one that causes problems.

Yeah Mozilla Firefox is the best browser out there. I saw a thread on here where you can reconfigure the system somehow and make it even faster. I'll look for it and post it up here if I find it. Good luck

You can download them on the FF page and on other pages. But, since you're asking that question, I'm guessing that maybe you don't use any (?). They're little things that add new functions to FF. If you aren't already using them, then there isn't any reason for you to go looking for them (though, there are some really cool ones out there). Anyway, if you weren't already using any, then that voids my theory that one might be fucking things up for you. Still, maybe trying a new profile wouldn't hurt. Otherwise, try uninstall/re-install. If that doesn't help, you could try searching the mozillazine forums.

My Firefox has been crashing lately too. I haven't looked into what might be causing it but I assume it's some recent update.
