I have a question, my doc doesnt giv recs

I do have a qualifying condition in washington. I asked my doc about it recently, and although he said it probably would help me, he doesn't give recs for mmj. I was advised to NOT go doctor shopping, so how the heck do I get a recommendation? There are clinics just over the border in Oregon that will handle OR and WA patients, is that my best option? Any info would be great, thank you!

I like CBR Medical, I've been going through them for two years now its what they do and they have been around a while.
