my buddy had to move away for his work and had 3 mother plants in 12x12 8"tall pots
i remooved the earth square from the pot to reveal a serious root-bound issue,
i would prefer to not clone and transplant outdoors later, that is if the roots havent been damaged to much due to being bound

does anyone know how i can keep my plant growing normal after being root bound???

i heard of people trimming roots to help them grow bushier ( like topping a plant)
can anyone back this up??

To help with your plants being rootbound just try to separate them gently and make some hang down. Some will break, but just transplant the rootbound plant and it will recover.

I dont know about the trimming of roots. I feel like it would go into some sort of stunt or shock right after.

Use water when you break it up

trim 1" around to get to healthy roots root bound plants tend to build up salt at the bottom of roots so trimming is a must then repot with new soil
