i have no microscope! HELP!

hey again. so its 'that time' for 1 of my plants. just a quick question, i have no microscope and i cant seem to find a decent one for cheap but anyways, how can i roughly tell when theyre ready, looking by eye? peace CF

Are you in the US? Radio Shack has the cheapo pocket microscope for $15 or something. Works like a charm once you get used to it. Takes a little practice.
