i have questions and need answers

ok well its my first time growing and i need a little help. my first question is can u tell whether the seed is female or male when it sprouts? and if so how? Second question, if u know your plant is 100% female, how do u make it start to flower/bud. i kno you can set it to a 12 light and 12 darkness cycle, but i am growing outdoors so i cant be there to take it in and out cuz of school and my parents.

You'll have to wait for it to show sex. Since your outside, you'll either have to wait until fall for the days to get shorter, or cover the plant up to artificially induce flowering sooner.

once i get it to start flowering, how long do i keep it on the 12/12 cycle. i also read somewhere that i can extend the light hours and decrease the dark hours like 13/11 or 14/10 is that true?

you're talking a lot of indoor growing there. With outdoors you have the benefit of mother nature taking its course. Yes you can mess around with covering your plant from the sun earlier or for 12/12 or 14/10, or 100 other possiblities... but are you really going to be around at exactly 7pm every day to do this (for example)? Just make sure they get a lot of sun, a good amount of water with some nutes from time to time and they'll come out as intended.

hey, i'm new to this post and wanna ask someone for some help. i've got almost everything i need start growing, except i've been waiting on seeds and it seems like 4ever...i'm building the room this week and will be ready to germ by the weekend. i was hoping someone local would meet with me and hook me up some seeds...i would never ask anyone to put themselves at risk but i think we can think of a way to meet without anyone feeling too suspicious...please get back to me because i am really anxious to get this off the ground. thx.

yeah i did that but most of what i get is sensimilla and i hardly ever come across seeds and the ones that i have come across have not been viable (i've tried a bunch of times). and i know the first thing to growing the sticky icky is genetics! i just wanna grow a bud that i can throw across the room and stick to a wall...is that really too much to ask? heh

i think you have to flower for 2 weeks in order to find out what the sex is.
