i have seen a couple gnats hangin out in my set up

Not really on the plants just flying around the lights and running around in the dirt....need to worry?

get fly traps, they work wonders and yes worry, don't smoke gnat carcasses (they get stuck on the sticky buds)

a little bit of dawn dish soap in a spray bottle will cure your nat problems

And spray it where?...all over?

You should definitely get on the case! Fly traps/paper with your fan blowing towards it, and some "Gnat Off" or similar.

I use this every 7-10 days, and a couple of fly papers up but still only just keep on top of them.
It's the little baby bastards in the soil that do the damage as well as the flying f^%ers.
As long as you do something there's not much to worry about, it's just another regular job to do around the grow really.

yep just mist your plants with it wont hurt the plants and wards off most insects

Freaking hate gnats so bad. They always come back! Next grow I'm breaking out the chemicals, hate to do it but.... Germed some beans and planted a few days ago and they still hadn't popped, so I carefully dug around and my germed seeds had gnat larvae all over em. Taproot eaten to shit. $6 a bean gone. Pissed thinking about, gonna buy some tomorrow.

home depot, diatomaceous earth . no need for BT IF they can't get into your soil.top layer.

...that's a nightmare....hate to hear that....yeah its on...ill b damned if I let some gnats eat at my shit....thanks for the tips everybody....ima little freaked out now n I wish I never woulda asked but its something I obviously gotta deal with...
