dont use aluminum foil man, bad advice. Get the mylar, the panda sheeting stuff, or just paint it flat white. Aluminum is not good, it causes hot spots and will mess your plants up.
I have to places to grow, where would you do it?

Agreed, its real easy for a hot spot to be focused on one spot on the plant. I'm in no real hurry, I figure i have a 2 week window before I have my dresser 100% and also need to transplant my babies.

I dont really know the best place to buy seeds. I ordered 10 seeds from nirvanaseeds.com. They sent me 14 seeds instead and they all looked very good. They were like twice the size of ordinary bagseed. The prices vary from 20 to 50 euro per 10 seeds. I think you should germ at least another one or 2 seeds, you dont want to end up having 2 males so dont leave it to chance! Good luck

Yea, only a 75 % chance of at least female doesn't do it for me, then again, a 25 % that they are both female!
What kinda seeds u get? I want to do something short but then again I was checking out another grow that lst'd with great results, so a short strain really isn't top on my priority list. I suppose I can't go wrong with some northern lights either.

So with all do respect, what can this do for me now or how does it have anything to do with my current grow?
I cannot imagine there is a whole lot that company can do that any half intelligent person cannot do through the Michigan Department of Mental Health website. It also says more information will be available in December.

my mate has a 250w cfl and he has used HPS FOR 25YEARS
AND HE QUOTED THE CFL'S FOR VEG AS THERE IS MUCH MORE FOLIAGE NO STRECH AND THERE BUSHY AS HELL HE THEN USES HPS FOR FLOWERING SO BEFORE TELLING PEOPLE THAT CFL IS A BAD IDEA DO SOME RESEARCH MATE....

dont know about were you are but here in the uk you grow weed in ur loft the polise have helecopters that'll see em i think the light weight set up in the basement sounds ideal jst get all your lights wired into one plug socket and on chains that atach to a hook an the ceiling, paint the walls mat white, regular house fan and a drum of some kind to keep your water and nutes in and you got yourself a grow op are you planning on making this a constant thing with plants veging and flowering at the same time? coz that could make it a little more tricky

first off cfls are the best give off no heat and your electric bill is the same. look at these. also grow in your basement you want lower temps not higher temps like would be in the attic.
42 watt average $10.00 each
65 watts, = $23.99 average price
85 Watt, average $29.00 each
105 watt average $38.99 each
Or Look for Clamp Reflectors and Bulbs together:
use some of these cfls and tell me they suck. do some research jackass before you start hateing on cfls.

Thanks guys - I am actually have a lil grow journal going. I went in the basement and so far so good. LST'ing so height is completely a non issue. Plants started slow because of the temps - but I got them straightened out. Grow journal's link is below.
