Too many brownies
Ok if you want me to be honest...the colors and wall thickness look pretty cool and consistent I would honestly love a pipe with the same glass as the second one, refine the shaping a bit but I do like it man just practice it a little more.

By the way they are definitely unique man and I like how youre playing with the position of the carb.

your probably holding it to close to the flame... move it out a couple of inches and if its still to hot or melting to much of the piece at once adjust your flame or use the minor burner. When I use to blow I would use the major burner for the general shape and the minor burner for detail. your torch has both on it right?

sounds good to me .... your torch does have a top(small)burner and a large one on the bottom ..rite ?
yes it does.

when i have a bubble as big as a grapefruit, i kinda have no choice but to get it all hot and slowly melt it down. my top torch isn't gonna do it.

when i have a glob this big, it ALL gotta be hot...................... IMG_2240.jpg

Uh oh,the time has come,or hes just making a vase:twisted:bongsmilie Your right with large pieces all you can do is slowly evenly heat it all,But i think that"s what rollers are for???to spin it in the heat quickly without deformation but i could be wrongbongsmilie 65$ on sundance.

Heres my torch, im little rusty 2. at all former pads, id build a little 2 man work bench in garage, and put a vent direct outside, and mount national major burner (2) of them , with splitters 2 a propane tank and liquid oxy. liquid oxy would cost like 200 a tank, but after spending maybe the 100 in tubing, color rod and gold and silver for fuming, id turn say 2 gun cases full of pipes.

glad to see other torches rockn

But that is what rollers are for, heating large pieces quickly so deformation does not happen,i can see not using one on a pipe, but lamps, bongs and anything like that you will see it helps alot,i know cause i used to work in a small shop, when we made big boys like 3 footers,it was not easy holding a heavy ass bong for hours with no support, but to each his ownbongsmilie:eyesmoke: Got any new stuff to show us:twisted:

that's not a bubble it's a solid blob that needs color added, then it's gonna be blown out into a pipe. it's about 3 inches of a 32mm piece of solid rod. you add color to the center then attach it to the end of a blow tube then blow it out into a bubble, putting all the color on the inside. then you reduce the bubble down to a tube. then you shape the tube into a pipe.

wow just got done reading through all 83 pages . It was cool to see how you slowly progressed. Did you ever end up selling any pieces to the head shop owner you mentioned earlier?
