are you doing furnace/gloryhole work? I would assume.

What did you do to get started?
I have quite a lot of shit already from doing stained glass, but Im seriously considering just getting all the stuff to blow glass already cause Im impatient.

Im considering maybe just doing torchwork...to start. Its cheaper.

I dunno what gloryholes cost these days.

no glory hole. all torch work.

wow that thing is incredible, i had to look at all the pictures at least twice and i still dont believe how cool it is. i would keep it for sure, especially if you broke the horn on your other one. wow, all i can say really is wow. 8 hours of work? if you did sell it it would cost like $150 or more

i fixed my new broken piece. it was just one of the tips of the horns. i welded it back on real quick. i'm using it now. :)

i have 5 sticks in the kiln right now. i'm going to try to spend the day just doing pieces of "blown-out" tubing. then at a later date i can weld them together and shape them.

the spoon cracked all to hell. i used some green sparkle in it. green sparkel is notorious for cracking. IMG_3374.jpg IMG_3379.jpg

the 2 piece sherlock did a little better. (i know those look like cracks, they are just reflections of the lines below. no cracks ) IMG_3384.jpg IMG_3381.jpg IMG_3385.jpg

Looking stylish bro... how the welds coming out...? Looks great from my screen...TM ps unless im delusional that looks caked with gold fuming..and it looks great that way if u ask me.. i prefer gold over silver fuming any day, but i also enjoy layering them , or say fuming the bowl gold, then the middle silver, and then the mouthpice gold again.. just my style...

it is NOT fumed. it is a "blow-out". NO gold, NO silver. the bowl was made using crayon red, yellow and orange, some caramel and some black. the stem was made using aroura, ruby red and chameleon. IMG_2242.jpg
