does anyone in the ny/metro area know of a quality inexpensive glass-blowing class nearby?

try a google search. i was really surprised that we actually have a lot in this area. you can find private blowers that will help as well.

well thats the thing fdd....there are lots of places around nyc. most of them charge an arm/leg and the ones that don't need to work on their marketing strategy (or-more to the point-come up with one).

nothing new, opossums are doing good. we feed them nightly. they hide under the house during the day. they run away when they see us though.
I was putting in the 2nd raised bed veggie garden and went out to work by old 42w cfl after dark and one of my resident opossums was in my apple tree, eating apples. He slowly turned around and stood still (playing dead) with his tail still held up at an odd angle. After several minutes his tail started sinking as it became difficult to hold up. Kinda funny.

have a "stare-out" with an opossum. lol

they're really funny when they play dead. they do it with their eyes open so they can watch you. sneaky bastards.
