can you fix my bubbler?

or rig it in such a fashion that it would smoke?

Before:

After:

i can make a marble out of it.

lol thats the same thing he said to me when i asked him to remake my broken steamroller-sized bowl. i even said id pay for all the glass it takes for evry time he messed up. its not like theyd be hard to glass back together, guess he just dosnt do custom jobs(yet)... still id pay top $$$ to get my favorite pipe recreated, even if it only had the same shape and dementions

not like it's hard, eh? you fix a lot of glass lately?

it would NEVER be what you expected. it would always be a "broken piece". you break it, it's done. buy a new one. you'd be lucky to find anyone to fix your broken stuff. especially a plate full of shards. :eyesmoke: bongsmilie

just a brief "how-to":

you pop all your holes last. the bowl hole and the crab hole. once you pop these holes you can no longer blow into your tube. you put it into the flame and it's gonna collapse. to fix it you'd have to pretty much fill in all the holes, melt it all together again and then reshape it. at this point i'd be making a new pipe out of old glass. it's just not what's done. maybe on a broken fitting on a 400 dollar bong, but not a simple spoon or shattered bubbler.

marbles don't break.

hey dont get too pissy, i was confering with someone who asked the same thing as myself. and for the record, if you remember, and im sure you read enough bs on here that you might not, id asked you to REmake it, not REpair the pipe id broken. real simple request, real simple answer, no. left at that, i was just telling someone else my experince asking the near same question

also, my pipe was not a "simple spoon" it was a cannon of a pipe that resembled a lightbulb with a carb and a bowlpiece with a giant mouth piece; like a cross between steamroller and pipe. atfirst i asked thinking you might want to try a new design, and i got the same remark; "ill make it into a marble"

wow, nice attitude. i used 4 smilies. i am NOT pissy. i do refuse the right to refuse service at any time though. (this is a joke, in case you want to lash back)

i do NOT do custom work. thanks for asking though. it's actually a compliment. i don't know why you'd think i'm pissy. a simple NO is kinda rude isn't it. since when is it "pissy" to offer an actual explanation?

this is what is killing this forum. now you're fighting with me, yet i was never "pissy". why must you all assume the worst? i used smilies. :wall:

still not pissy. just doing bong rips and getting ready to go fill my empty tanks. :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

just like every other hater here. you are all wrong and are drivng me out of here.

just so you know.

:peace:

i'm really sorry i couldn't fix your broken pipe. i am not confident in myself enough to take custom orders. it would be a waste of my time and your money. it is my skill level that i am leary of. it's NOT about you.

that and i have 1000 of my own ideas i'd like to get out first.

ok, misunderstanding registered, i didnt know the use of a smiley made the comment lighthearted. i do have a hard time understanding the emotion behind typed words, but i want to assure you, fdd, i am not one of your haters, more often ive been a defender.

hope the air is calm now...

at least now I understand why you can't fix it. I thought pipe making was more similar to welding than I guess it is. I figured that you could just apply heat and filler material until it was all stuck together

though since it wasn't a very colorful piece I'll pass on the marble service.

Hey fdd I just popped in to see if you had any new glass pics. Marble is badass, but I also wanted to argue with you about something as well. bongsmilie I just can't think of anything . . . .

i really hope this is not true. :o. you got people that respect ya too lol. and afterall everyone with anything worth having is always gonna have haters. ya gotta learn to love em. i normally just play there game lol.. but then again im not staff lol.

though i must admit ive had the same notions lately. i mean i know im not really one to talk, but true it seems theres a lot of assholes around lately huh. (like poop fetish man)

awsome work fdd

i also like the last two. though a little longer of a neck and she would have been perfect. i believe you do older longer style necks to huh?

i may be alone when i say this but the short fat necks kinda piss me off lol. ie: when i havent had a haircut in a long time especially.. (:fire: this is my hair lol).

youve probably answered this already but how hard is it to get the colours and that where you want them. its just i noticed youve started putting art in ya work..

true ive seen quite a few nice pieces so far. IMHO better than half the stuff that retails where im from and im a cussy funt.

but i guess every artist is always going to be critical of there work..
