i just returned a year old light bulb for $$$

Just hope no-one here gets that bad bulb. If it ends up back on the shelf, it is stealing money from the next purchaser. I guess there are a couple of people that think you are somehow cool for doing this, but it looks like a majority have you pegged as...well, figure it out.

? how am I on his side-I told him I think he is an asshole, which he is for lying to someone at the store for a 13$ light bulb. even just stealing the light bulb like a man would have been more respectable than going in with a old receipt and lying about how you never used it-I don't respect a thief but what you did was just pathetic.

That was on tv the other day lol.. whine whine whine. That is gangster lol my buddy did that with a 3 year old burton custom snowboard. It got a deep chunk taken out of it in the park and he called burton and told them it was caused by a pressure crack. They sent him all new gear this year :). It's all about your gift of gab and sometimes luck with the idiots working for the company. +rep bro

You should try something like calling up the company and telling them how much you love their product. They'll probably send you one for free. I called Sperry up once about a pair of topsiders that were so comfortable, I had worn them around the world. I didn't ask for anything, didn't try to rip them off, I just wanted to know where I could get them resoled. They had me send them in, they resoled them for free, shipped them back, and sent me a coupon for a free pair. True story.

So call up the manufacturer of your bulb. Tell them it's a wonderful product but maybe it didn't last as long as you thought it should. I bet you they'd send you a free one, or coupons and you wouldn't have to lie, cheat or steal. It's worth a shot.

Hell, I returned a wallet once with $800 in it. Oh but I was sorely tempted to keep it. That had new bike written all over it. Anyway I got free mexican food at a fancy restaurant for a year for me and my family.

Honesty does have it's rewards. Unless the question asked is, "Is that weed I smell in your car son?"

Not you.....unless you've been stealing roaches, you said majority thinks he's lame or whatever you said , I was trying to agree and add I bet if you left the light bulb hustler alone at your place he's the type who would probably take a roach when your not looking....just saying he sounds like a dishonest dude. Lying over a light bulb is a strong indicator of poor character- and really small time thinking...I mean way to aim for the stars-a light bulb? Really? what's next? maybe you could buy a few frozen pizzas and have a party and after everyones done throughly enjoying the pizzas you could contact the company and tell them the pizza was terrible [ even though everyone loved it ] and get them to send you a refund...and some cupons. Now that would be hustling.....Lame..if you try it I hope you choke on your pizza. I wonder if he's returned his nutes to A.N. yet heard their 100% money back garenteed...I wonder how many losers like this are hustling everyone.
 
There was another guy last year at some pot site I can't remember. Anyway some hydro store shipped him the same product twice by mistake and instead of doing the honest thing and calling them up he bragged about his good fortune on the site, 90% of people were in agreement with him. I'm shocked how the general population has problems with morals and basic shit like right and wrong, I'm saddened by how worse growers fare. It's just sad.
