True. Don't give breathes anymore. Just chest compressions. The compressions also work the lungs. Also don't stop chest compressions. Think of it as building up hydraulic pressure. If you stop, you lose pressure.

it was my 2nd time on an actual living person vs those torsos used in class,I had to do it on my grandson when he was 18 months old,he had that deal where baby's stop breathing for no reason,can't remember the big ass name of it but he outgrew the disorder by the time he was 2 years old
my son & daughter in law still have the emergency shock device left over from that era

My father was a first responder for over 30 years. He always carries a trauma bag. I can remember as a kid him stopping at wrecks and being elbow deep in blood.
I spent my summers going to training with him. We also had buddy trama care in the military.

right on brother,from day one here or at any forum your words are as relevant as any other person posting,very few of us know each other in real life so one mans word is as good as another's in cyberland far as most are concerned,me being one of them.

I appreciate your input on things, I just don't see things the same way. I don't understand what I said to be called an idiot, colostomy boy, sharttater. I don't agree with everyone on this site but I try to be respectful. Thats the way I was raised, treat others the way you wanna be. I don't like being insulted so I try not to do it. Sorry if I'm just misunderstanding everyone. When i say I don't understand people I mean it. I don't speak my mind often but when I do I don't like being treated like a idiot or my opinion doesn't matter I've felt like that most of my life. I'll admit I have NO friends I'm borderline a hermit. I thought of all people on this earth stoners would somewhat understand me.
