Only way I could see anything being on a finish product is if someone foliar feeds, or used pesticides/fungicides on the actual plants.
Anything else is myth bullshit and doesn't work based on how plants do.
And I've had "chemmy' cannabis, it was Chem or Chem crosses. Perhaps you just don't like those strains.

@ op your throat could be burning for many reasons.. weed could have been poorly grown or processed..there mayhave been mold or mildew either in visual form or spores you cant see with the eye. it coulda jyst been genetics some strains are just a rpugher thicker smoke then others . or its flue season by me.. you could just be getting sick.. who da fuck knows

Why deprive your plants of feeding during the last few weeks, particularly when the most mass is packed on during that time frame? What other plants are "flushed" prior to harvest? None, and you eat a shit ton of them every day.

keep.smoking chemmy scwagg.. lol i donno what else to tell you.. i been growing about half my life now.. about 15 years. ive come along way from some cfls in the closet or a plant in the clearing of some wooded area .... i have learned that everything matters in your end crop.. from how much your feeding them to what your feeding them . to how much and what kind of light there getting. to how much humidity is in the air or growroom(high humidity makes darker.bid not to mention mold risks) what kind of soil or medium ur using.what elevation your growing at. when you harvest ect. it all matters.. what maybe good enough or great to you mught be subpar to someone else... To each there own.

Doesn't matter how many years you've been growing, you can still be wrong. Flushing is an old wives tale similar to hanging plants to make thc drip out.
Please explain in biological terms how flushing works to 'get rid of a harsh smoke'?

I'm aware of plants giving off oxygen and water, and carbon dioxide but not "toxins" which I'm assuming are in your concept of basic salts used to feed plants. Pretty sure there are no toxins in therw, unless one is stupid enough to eat fertilizer
