I know this is a stupid quest. . . but

if the outside section of the seed comes completely off when germinating, is that a big concern? It did that on 2 of my seeds. I don't know whether to throw them away or not.

I am going to the store tomorrow, but will a regular lightbulb be okay for now?

Buy a 42 watt CFL at the min. If you have the cash pony up for a HPS or MH. If thats not an option soot for at least 100watts/sqft. You can plant those seeds, well shoots, but be very very careful. Touch only the leaves if you can.
