I may have a problem with too tall of plants (pic included)

These have been growing for a week. As you can see they are very tall, so tall that they bend from hitting the dome of the planter. What am I doing wrong? I have read on the forums that they just need more/stronger light.

Lights: (2) 15 watt "plant & aquarium" T8 fluorescent bulbs. (Which have been on 24 hours for 5 days.)
Medium: Coconut fiber

Any help would be greatly appreciated... just want to save these plants from anything harmful to their future growth! Thanks!

Get the light right down on the plants and when you transplant bury those lanky stems. You need a fan lightly blowing on them to help strengthen them too.

I'm worried about the dome too. High RH and they need to be weaned from it. open all the vents. The dome may be keeping the light too far away.

Like Coho said…Just bury those lanky girls with more soil and bring the light closer. They will perk up.bongsmilie

put those in containers and bury each one all the way up to the first set of leafs ...put em outside in the sun if that is the only light you have.
