I messed up badly. Need help with my new clones!

i just got 5 white widow clones and 5 grape ape clones. i put them under flouresent light for one week and i rushed them under my 1000w lamp too quickly. i noticed them about 2-3 hours after i put them in my veg area. i took them out and they where all drooped over the side of their pots. i took them out and put them under the flouresents. the plants stood back up but the leafs are still droopy and off colored. what should i do? start new clones or keep with these? they've made a 1000% improvement from when i took them out from the 1000w area. Let me know!

nope, no pictures right now. i relieved that they made the improvement that they did. i hope that they come through for me. there are some very dry ends on the leafs and that part of the leaf looks like it is dieing if it isn't dead already. should i clip them?

In my experience if I don't have a good amount of roots they don't seem to uptake enough water to sustain. (at least this is my assumption as to why mine droop sometimes) I would just get them a bit larger.

How old were the clones and how close did you have that light? New rooted clones will need that light 2-3 feet away from tops for week or so till they can take in that amount of light but they need to be well rooted before forceing so much light on them

Too much light too soon. Clones cannot deal with intense light until they have roots. You can make them really happy by running a tube off a humidifier into the clone tent. Make the humidity 95-100% for the first 3-5 days. They love this and it will usually bring them back if you didn't totally fry them. It also increases rooting time significantly. A heat mat helps too.
For me clones used to take 3 weeks to come around and be ready for intense light. Since adding a heat mat and constant fresh humidity it is now a week or less.

i had them about 2 feet from the light. they where pretty far away.

If you take them from a tray once they have the roots coming through the cube and put them into soil do you still need to ease on the light?

Yeah they say to gradually add more light!

A few days ago I took some clones from a male for practice, I didn't have any root hormone so I wanted to see if the straight water method will work, I'm also trying MG and water mix, it's been like three days and they still seem to be doing ok, the one in the green somewhat clear glass is showing symptoms, at the tip of the stem where I cut/sliced it is starting to spread open, I'm afraid to check the other two as I don't know what will happen if I expose the roots, if the one that I can see starts rooting then I will check the others.

I'm using a rubber maid container for a humidity dome and seems to be working, I spray the clones and the inside of the container twice a day.
