Hey guys been browsing for a long time but finally decided to step in and hopefully be a contributing member when I get some experience. Was just curious - I'm starting a very small grow (1 plant, bagseed) and would just like to know before I begin if the bits and pieces I'm about to purchase are the correct ones, sorry, just don't really want to mess up.

From what I've read its 100w to a plant on 24/0 for the (vegatation?) early stage directly after germination.

I'm struggling with finding something that can fit the CFL's (any help appreciated) :S

^ Would this one work if I changed the bulbs?

^ Not sure about this one as where I live we use the 3-prong plug and I think the UK uses some chunky 3 prong?

Is there a way to speed up the complete cycle from germ to flower without sacrificing potency? I need to make sure it's done in under 3 months and was thinking of low stress training the plant to keep it short, keep the light close so it doesnt stretch but I'm unsure at what times would be ideal to start the 12/12 process for a decent final yield in a short period.

Thanks in advance,
acoustica

forget about the hallogen, the cfls are good, but I'd run 2 on each plant, personally I'd run a 150w HPS to replace every 2 cfl, better light penitration. the more lumens at a decent spectrum the beter, you CAN start at 12/12, potency has more to do with what you feed them, and genetics.

I would start with 18/6 though... To avoid stressing the plant and to make sure it will have a healthy flowering period

Thanks guys. How do I go about mounting the CFLs? Do I have to do some crazy wiring or is there some extension chord type of light fixture I can get?
