I need a complete setup! please help me out haha first timer

i have like 250 to spend total on a closet grow. closet of 2.5 feet wide 5 feet long. i need everything lights (idc led, cfl whatever) soil or hydro, everything. can someone help me out. i want to try and grow purple cheese autoflower, and auto pounder.

Id have to disagree with that taking into consideration the control of temperature from the HPS light and the pests that can infest your soil.
But everyone has different opinions

Here's the simple version. Get yourself some potting soil. Go to the hardware store and grab a bunch of CFL's a power bar and some of those Y light socket splitters and plug adapters. then go to your local hydroponics shop and grab a 3 part nute system. Boom your good to go, prolly have enough to grab a sack of chron and a burrito on the way home.

yea a noob doesnt need to fuck with heat managment i would use a 4 foot shop light for veg and some cfls for flowering for your first grow 250$ isnt going to get u anything better.

If you want to get great deals on equipment look on Craigslist, it may take a few weeks to find a killer deal but be patient and it will pay off, a few weeks ago a guy was selling a 357 Magnum LED panel for $400, they retail for $1200, I see deals like this all the time on Craigslist, some people decide to try their hand at growing, buy a bunch of equipment, do one run and then for whatever reason "they" decide its too much trouble than its worth (probably because they did something wrong or got bad advice) and just want to recoup some of their losses and usually to our benefit. I would also recommend getting a grow guide, especially if you have little or no experience, personally I like Growing Elite Marijuana by Ryan Riley, others swear by The Cannabis Grow Bible, if your going to use CFL's you should check out (-->Buds For Less<--) Good luck on whatever you decide.
