I always like advice! I was thinkingh a float valve is key also, u can keep the water levels steady all the time, and u dont have to wait for the thing to fill, I'm very forgetfull:blsmoke:, so I could see a flood in my grow room already... Good purchase and great advice for anybody thats into hydroponics

Now for the real question.
Why should you bid on this filter instead of the 200 others listed on eBay.
Honestly they all filter the same way
We will all give you clean water.
We do it a little different,
we use clear housings so you can see the condition of your filters.
You do not have to go to the trouble
and mess of opening them up to see if they have any life left in them.
We also use a 4.4 gallon storage tank,
if they don't give a size it is probably a 3 gallon tank.
All the tanks have stainless steel threads,
steel tank and polypropylene bladders.
There all some cheap plastic tanks available
but I have not seen any of the major dealers offer one.
In addition we provide a long reach chrome faucet
that you can mount on your sink
not a hard to use ball valve at the end of a red hose.
All of these things cost us a little more
but they add to the quality of the product.
All of the 100 gallon per day units on eBay
will give you 110 gallons per day
if you have water at about 80 degrees and 100 PSI
most homes are about 60 PSI with 60 degree water.

We have been building custom Reverse Osmosis systems since 1994,
most for the marine fish enthusiast.
In Jan 2001 we started sell them on eBay.
Our company will be here to support your needs for a long time.

We use only the best components available
and custom build them to your order, in our shop in California.
They do not arrive from China by the container load
ready for export to the US.
This means if you have a special need
we can help you with it.

We buy our membranes from Applied Membranes
Applied Membranes, Inc. Manufacturer & distributor of Reverse Osmosis Systems Membranes and Components T
his is a TFC membrane made by Applied Membranes
with material from Dow Chemical.
This membrane will auto-flush,
it does not require regular manual flushing,
if properly maintained,
but we provide a valve to assist in doing that
if you have problems that require this unusual operation.

The RO membranes normally last from 1 year + for a 50 GPD
and from 2 years + for a properly maintained 100 GPD.
All of our filters and membranes are industry standard sizes.
The prefilters will require replacement on a regular biases
depending on water use and input water quality.
Most people find they last from 3 to 9 months.
We reccomend replacing the filters
on no more than a 6 month basis
for most customers.
All our filters are standard sizes
most good hardware stores carry them.
We also have them on our web site.

We warranty all of our systems for 2 years
against defects in parts and workmanship..
We do not warranty the filters
they will require replacement on a regular basis
just like the oil in your car.

What is a Permeate Pump?
The pump is a simple, yet revolutionary, device.
Powered only by the hydraulic energy of brine water
usually lost to the drain (i.e. no electricity required),
the Permeate Pump forces product water into the storage tank,
reducing membrane back pressure and maximizing available feed pressure.
These pumps dramatically improve the efficiency of R.O. water production,
reducing wastewater by up to 80%.
Other benefits include higher delivery pressures,
faster R.O. water production, superior water quality,
and extended filter/membrane life

Here is the system I ended up getting.
$96 shipped, 100GPD RO/DI.
I have slightly low water pressure so I'm only pulling 70-75, but that is good enough for now.
Water around here is 500ppm out of the faucet, this machine gets it down to 0-2ppm.
