in or around Portland, OR.

Would love to work In a grow facility. I have farm experience and indoor gardening experience. Also cooking experience.

I realize that I'm one of many that want to get into the industry, but figured I would try other avenues aside from Craigslist! Happy to work for low wages, I just want to get my foot in the door and learn.

Heck I'd just like to find a stable job in Texas... doesn't even have to be cannabis related.
Hope you find something though.

There are other things I could be applying to for sure.

But the green industry is what I want to get into next. How to without any legitimate field experience is beyond me. Figured that I would attempt this route.

Thanks for the positive vibes!

Not a bad idea, I've had people suggest that I move to a legal state and start growing, legally. Guess that says something. :?:

That's hopefully the plan!

I'll be parting ways with some of my big equipment to lighten the load for traveling. Do I buy more equipment upon arriving or try to get in somewhere to learn from the pros, ya know?

But of course I'll have a personal plant or two growing at all times to learn from and to enjoy

Well, how much 'big equipment' would you be parting ways with? If you're considering buying some when you arrive, I'd look at cost vs hassles of moving the gear. Nothing says you can't keep your gear and grow while learning on the job.

Well by big I mostly mean my inefficient and energy sucking 1k hps setup. I got a great deal on it, and it's works great on a track with my current grow space. Just another thing to throw in the caravan though.

I've got a couple lower wattage and less space consuming lamps and nice fans that will be suffice for a smaller set up.

Looking into getting some LEDs eventually.
