I need a little advice

Hi RIU,
I use a second story bedroom as my garden.
I covered the window with Panda Film to control lighting.

Now my stupid association is painting my building in the next few weeks.

How can I make my window safe from prying eyes and not look like something bad is happening?

A vertical blind hangs in the Window in front of the Panda right now.

I am open to any suggestions!

thanks to all!

Make sure you don't have any light leaks. Turn the lights off in your grow room during daylight hours and make sure you can't see any light sneaking in or out. There are a ton of innocent reasons to have a bedroom window closed up so as long as nothing is visible from the outside you should be tits. Good luck, BigSteve.

I have my blinds in my window. And black plastic sheeting behind taped to the wall.. from outside it looks like its dark in the room and I have a curtain perhaps, but the blinds keep it from looking like a blacked out window and it really looks pretty natural. Looks like my neighbors and I've had it this way for about a year I guess

Black it out, and if they ask, just tell them thats the room you masturbate in. What are they gunna say to that.

Thank you all,
I will Remove and re-do the Window covering.
I think Ill hang a colored curtain behind the white blinds and the put the Blackout panda layer back New and Tight.

Dog I would not use anything like plastic or whatever to block out light, too suspicious. I have a HOA also and to keep prying eyes out I use blinds and heavy (thick) curtains. There is no way to see thru both layers and it looks normal to them. Any blackout technique is gonna draw attention, it would me if I saw it..

Mr. John I feel the same way and it's the HOA having the building painted.

( attached Townhomes)

The Back of my home faces the woods and another Development, the only way to see in my window is with a ladder.

I have Huuricaine Windows, very heavy duty and they hold Back most Sound, I will have to build a muffler for the 6" intake coming out the top of my tent about a 8-12".

maybe just a larger card board box with holes on the top so I can just set it on top on my tent?

Any thoughts about noise reduction,

I have those thick curtains that are supposed to insulate heat and block 99% light or whatever and be noise canceling....you know what I'm talking about.. my hps blasted right through at night. I had to put plastic sheeting behind them also(light goes through microscopic holes in just the sheet alone, but I did get the 5mm or something, the cheap one lol, used it to build my dark room too), which looks exactly the same.. but I run open and it does look like the sun in there

Hmmmm
Open as in no tent or cab, just lights danglin from the ceiling
But yes I do have a few thousand acres and security cams:)
(I don't live on it though..I'm an "apartment" kinda) maybe its called a condo? Idk how they name these things lol..but I don't own it

I have microblinds which really leave no cracks or holes to peer through. I tacked up a thick, opaque black trash bag behind the blinds and you can't see the smallest amount of light escaping even on a dark night.

I had a lined Curtain in Dark Grey, so I took down my panda film and stapled the fabric around the window and stapled the panda film back in place.
Pretty sure it will just look OK!
Wish I could be the First one up the ladder, I don't have an extension ladder anymore.

Now on to my Muffler for my air intake!
