I need a little help with this light.

I found this 175watt HPS dusk to dawn light that i was thinking of using for this first grow. I took it apart but the only thing it has is the ballast and dusk to dawn sensor. I found the instructions on here on how to convert a security light to grow light but the one in the instructions has an igniter seperate from the actual ballast. Mine just has a big ballast, and no igniter. I really want to make this light work because i was planning on getting a HPS light soon but i just been layed off at work. I hate doing construction. It happens every year here. Anyways does anyone have any experience with this type of light. I really need to get more light on these plants but this is the only way i can do it right now. It is a Regent Model NH-1204M

Ok, i figured it out. The igniter apparently is built in with the either the light sensor or the ballast itself. I hook it up but it hums extremely loud. Too loud to use as a grow light in a stealth setup. Hell you could probably hear it outside of my house when it is on.

did u find the light or did u buy it? Did u try to reverse the wires by mistake
