I smoke in my room, though I have to wait til between 1:30 an 4 am when my parents go to sleep. I put my giant stuffed wolf by the crack under the door. Don't bother with spray, it just makes it more obvious that you're trying to cover up a smell. Smoke right out of the window. The neighbor has a steam outlet that looks like a stream of smoke so if my parents see from the kitchen window directly below me, I say it's the neighbor...
Watch the direction of the wind when you exhale. Don't go up to smoke in any kind of rush, do a chore or other part of your bedtime routine first. If you smoke in your room during the day, come out and do something constructive so you don't actually end up sitting around stoned all day and no one will get the impression that you do so. Actually I feel really proud of all the cooking, cleaning and homework I get done high...

I'm 20, still living with the family. I love them and they love me (hopefully). No need to hide bud, parents just ask for a few grams a month. What's wrong with that?

No I don't have kids, and I wouldn't burden my parents with my kids If still living with them anyway. I do babysit my little brother while high. My mother thinks I only smoke away from the house and once a week. My dad has no idea. I work hard at school, cook, keep the house in order, do ballet, horseriding, ice skating and yoga. I'm in a steelband and have been doing voluntary and farm work for 5 years. My parents shouldn't have too much to be on my case about and I hope I'm a good example of boycotting the 'lazy, unmotivated stoner' stereotype :3

i used to put fabric softner in empty toilet paper rolls..and exhale into them ..kinda made the smoke smell powdery fresh....
Nonethelss moms knew i was smoking that shit ...no matter how much i hid it....back when i lived at home.....
We finally came to terms ... and i just got to the point where i was just straight up with her instead of lying....
And i sugest you do the same......
Your mom probly knows anyway......
U never know she could be getting baked all day in her room and u dont even know it .... either that or shes hitting the bottle.....

by 15 i was buyin for my mom....by 17 i was already out on my own....never tried to hide it...i feel thats the worst part about it...now, i smoke anywhere ...moms...dads....grandmas...cousins....doesnt matter....as long as theres no cops lol.... that being said....i couldnt tell u how to hide it because i REFUSE to do it

Its not just about being a man and telling your parents I`m this!! Its sometimes about not breaking your moms heart when you don`t have to. As long as his a good boy and smokes, its fine. No worries for the mom. Its not all about pride and ego... 
If you really want to make things right, smoke your weed and help your mom even more. Just be a great boy, appreciate her looking after you and let it go gradually. Don`t listen to too many hardened up vets who never had these problems and break your moms heart will ya
I started smoking with my parents and growing weed for them when I was 18. They both know I do the occasional lsd, mdma you name it. I tell my mom about my acid trips too, she loves it
Though its important to make them proud, you owe them that! If weed is a con in their "opinion of a good son" then add some pros to their "opinion of a good son" done deal, everyones happy, its not all about the rebellion
