I Need Help Choosing New Lighting!

I have 2 flowering spaces, both 7 feet tall. One is a 5x5 grow tent, and the other is a 9x9 room. I am currently running 2k hps on light movers in the big room and 1k hps in the tent. I'm getting pretty good yields, but I am maxed out on available wattage.

I have no electrical expertise whatsoever and building a DIY is out of the question for me, I know nothing about lighting either, but I would like to upgrade to new lights if it will improve my yield or lower my light bill. I hope some of the experts will be kind enough to offer some good advice.

I'm not in Canada. I'm in the Southern U.S.A. Of the two other options offered above I see that the first (HLG), is cheaper and uses less watts than the second (Timber). How do they compare in performance with hps and with each other? I'm not much on charts and graphs. I just want to know which one grows better weed.

4 x 315w cmh in the big tent,no more mover and a 500w cob setup for the veg tent will do better than your current setup and use alot less power.

I really think you should buy one of each... Then tell us which one grows the best weed... I think the hlg would preform better in the tent and the cobs in the open grow...

Both areas are for flowering. I have an additional veg and mother room that I'm running with T5's. I've considered the 315 cmh's, but I figured it would take at least 6 to cover the 9x9. I still might consider it. It wouldn't save much power, but they would provide great coverage and might very well increase yields.

well with your budget the skys the limit.6 x 315 cmh will be alot more growth in there then 2 x 1000w on a mover.i know movers,i have used one for the last 7 years and just finally took them down.4 x 630w de cmh would also be better than your current setup by alot,could even do 5 of them with one light in the center.

better than 2 thowies,yes.better than 2 timber kits idk but i bet its close.changing the spectrum,dropping the heat.better coverage,i bet she doubles her yields or close.movers dont double your space.they only help remove shaded spots.they are good for about 18 inches swing
