I am growing a group of ladies under 600watt Metal Halide in 3 gal containers using Promix and FoxFarm trio. This girls are 6 weeks into veg and are about 24" tall. I am developing these white tips on two of them (Purple Haze and Aroma) and can't figure out what is happening! Also, you can notice a little curling of some of the mid-leaves on one of mine and I was wondering what that indicated as well!
Any help please!!

Plants are about 18-24" from light. Temp in room stays around 75-78. I am watering them every 3 days as of now.

what are your run off PH levels? and how much N are u still giving the plants? the "claw" leaves are probably from too much N. the twisted painful looking curl job is probably your PH out of whack.

good luck!

I'm just following the FoxFarm feeding schedule giving them 1/2 of the recommended dosage. My PH has stayed about 6.8 to 6.9. I have been giving them about a 1/3 of a gallon each watering or fertilizing...should I increase the amount of liguid each one gets or??

interesting!! Such a low dosage??? Others here I have read stated that I should start at 1/4 of the dosage and slowly build up to 3/4 by flowering??! Who really knows??? It's interesting that only two plants out of the eight I am growing show any signs of these problems!!!

also if u make a mix in a gallon, you need to be very careful splitting that gallon into thirds because you may not not up with equal amounts of nutrients in each third.

if u see that the plant can take it, up the dose. but that regiment will protect you from nute burn.

if you really want to higher doses, id go organic as its really a lot harder to cause nute burn with organics. my first couple years used foxfarm nutes. after that i jumped on the Earth Juice train.

but good luck to you my friend!

why is that? if it is mixed?
because as all the stuff is swooshing and swirling around the water, some of it sinks, some of it rises, and as you pour it out into the containers, i'd be willing to bet the last plant you water is getter the strongest dose ;)

I'll keep that in mind and try to "constantly" agitate until its all gone! Thanks for the idea!! What do you think the white tips indicate? Any ideas?

This is whats happening
1- white tips are very minor nute burn, back off nutes by 5-10%.
2- slight curl is overwatering , let it dry out another day.
